Thanks, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the response to that silly chart. I started making it not really knowing where I was going with it, then started noticing all the little similarities TB and TVD had (and Twilight is just … special). The similarities between TB and TVD do kind of end with that chart (except both Bill and Stefan were turned during the Civil War, and their makers were these beautiful but psycho women who still love them … uh oh)

I was resistant to watch Vampire Diaries when it started because it just looked like “Twlight TV” to me. And watching the 1st episode I was thinking “Oh great, an eternally 17 emo vampire is pining for some lonely chick, haven’t seen that before.” Then Damon shows up, snaps some necks and does that eye thing and BOOM! I got a new guilty pleasure TV to watch.

Yes, Ian Somerhalder has roped me in. I remember seeing him as the bi-curious guy in Rules of Attraction, and Lana’s sorta-not-really boyfriend with wicked cirrhosis on Smallville and thinking “he’s cute”, but it’s just a lot of fun watching him be the smart-ass “eternal stud” on Vampire Diaries. I guess you could say he’s really sunk his teeth into the role. You know, cuz he’s a vamp… okay, I’ll stop.
